  • Jake, I can't speak on your system and to be honest I don't know much about it. I am simply grateful for what I have and don't understand why people are so vehemently opposed to universal health care. To me it represents equity in that everyone has equal access to the same resources.

  • I am grateful I live in a place where universal health care is the norm. No one is turned away because they can't pay for treatment. Whether they work or on welfare does not matter. It is for the common good that we have universal health care.

  • And no, I don't have statistics to back up how many moderate Muslims there are or whether or not they will actually suffer a backlash. This is my opinion.
